Smart Large Room with disabled facilities Idealy Located near Doncaster - Rotherham -Sheffield

The location was great and very quiet.

The room was very convenient for my needs, but there was a stressful discrepancy regarding check-out times. The listing stated a check-out window of 11:00 am–2:00 pm, which I had relied on for a 12:30 pm meeting. However, when I tried to confirm this, the host informed me check-out was actually 11:00 am. Although the host kindly offered to let me stay in the front room to finish my meeting, the conflicting information and the feeling that I was asking for a special favor (rather than using the advertised time) was quite embarrassing. I’d recommend staying here for the location, but suggest confirming the exact check-out time with the host beforehand to avoid any last-minute stress.

The room was amazing , large open plan with plenty of natural light. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean .

Advertised as disabled friendly . I messaged them my requirements and they advised had a stair lift and that there was two rooms available which would I prefer . I went with the room with the ensuite bathroom after they advised there was a stair lift and I said I could manage the stairs by using stair lift. I have a stair lift at home so I know how to use them. Arrived at property to check in and found that the stair lift wasn't even switched on and the chair was at the top of the stairs ,So I turned it on and waited for it to work while looking for the control to bring the chair down couldn't find the control so my daughter who was helping me with my bags went to top of the stairs to try bring it down that way but no matter what button she pressed no movement from the chair and no sounds either . Anyway daughter was in a rush so I struggled up the stairs with my crutches left my stuff and went to take my daughter to where she was staying and while I was there I emailed the agent for help with the stair lift hoping to have it working when I returned or for them to show me how to use it , i received no reply to this message by the time I returned ( 2hours later ) still the lift wasnt working so I struggled up the stairs again . I still hadn't heard anything by 12pm the next day when I checked out so had to struggle on the stairs. If I knew the stair lift wasnt working I wouldn't have taken the upstairs room as I advised them I was walking with two crutches .

My stay was lovely from start to finish. The hotel was clean, tidy, and very peaceful. The staff were top-notch and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. I truly appreciated the calm environment and excellent service. I would gladly stay here again.

Booking.com states that each room has its own TV, which is not accurate. There is only one shared TV for all rooms. I specifically booked this hotel because it indicated that each room had a TV, so this was disappointing. Although the staff explained that it was a mistake from Booking.com, I believe the information should be corrected to avoid misleading future guests

It was well located for what I needed.

Some of the decor throughout the property was a bit tired or suspect.

This house has a garden in front and back, has parking space both inside and on the street in front of the house, has a large kitchen and a large refrigerator plus a coffee machine and other functional appliances... a large shower with a large funnel, a very large TV and many channels, and in the double room there was a large and very spacious TV

In the house the central heating is set to one hour, I think it works one hour, it doesn't... but the quietness of the area, no noise, you sleep peacefully

The property and room are neat, comfy, and spacious with a wonderful host.. It is a home away from home.
