We arrived after sunset in the rain so getting oriented and inside was difficult.
NZWe liked the idea behind this set-up, it is a completely private location, outdoors so felt a bit like glamping. I could see it work as a love nest or for some outdoorsy guy on a fishing trip. the sauna was great! The tree ferns are stunning
The place was incredibly hard to find, there were no proper directions, the provided house number leads to a totally wrong place especially when you arrive late and its dark The concept is great however the execution lacked. It was overall dirty, we acknowledge the fact that this is an outdoor location which is hard to keep on top of but it is simply not well looked after. the posted pictures are like 3 years old when it was new and in pristine condition and all the wood was clean and shiny, now the kitchen bench has stains and mold in it, the walls of the toilet looked disgusting, the windows of the cabin have not been cleaned in a long time, there was dirt and spider webs. the ducting above the kitchen bench has dirt and bird poo on it. The lock of the cabin did not work properly and we felt a bit unsafe. This place could do with a proper scrub down or karchering or getting a team of professional cleaners in to do a deep clean maybe every few months would be beneficial

DE- loved the Sauna :-) - felt a bit like wilderness just 20 m from the highway
- it felt a bit like camping (kitchen, shower, toilet are outside), was fine during summer - no room to hang up clothes in the sleeping room - sandflies - still not sure if the owner is the neighbour…
NLEen fantastische plek met echt alle gemakken. De perfecte uitvalsbasis om bijvoorbeeld de Inland Pack Track te starten. Absoluut een van de mooiste locaties in onze reis
