Historic 2 bed gatehouse in private parkland

Our second year staying at the property, still as fabulous as we remembered.

Brilliant location, I stayed with a friend from America, but I have already booked again with my family.

Location. Quirky. Spacious. Historical.

Some areas needed cleaning: Wardrobes, porch, patio furniture/area. Lack of kitchen cleaning aids e.g. cloths, sponge, scourer. No foil or cling film.

WOW!!! What an absolutely beautiful place! the property was so beautiful and the private parkland was simply stunning. The property was very well stocked with great kitchen equipment, home from home! Tea, coffee, sugar all there and a cute little bottle of milk in the fridge. There was wood for the real fire, which we made use of! It had a beautiful, secure, back garden that was so peaceful to sit in (we had great weather too!) There were miles of footpaths right from the property, which was great with the dog. Literally a 5 minute walk into town and we went to The Snakecatcher and The Forresters (I think), both were dog friendly and lovely places. This is a 'must visit' place nd we will be back!

We found the gatehouse, clean and comfortable. Wonderful stay in this historic building surrounded by parkland. Easy to walk in to Brockenhurst over the railway footbridge opposite the gatehouse.

Lots of character, well stocked, lovely location and walking distance of Brockenhurst, great communication and helpful when we left something behind. Thank you for a lovely stay

This is a stunning & quirky gatehouse situated in the village of Brockenhurst in the New Forest. It is a short walk away from the train station and all the local amenities whilst actually being set in the countryside. There are a great many places to eat-out in the village with a good choice of foods. The two bedrooms are a good size with very comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped and the living rooms were homely. We would be very happy to visit and stay again.

The gatehouse is superb, so comfortable, warm, and cosy, especially having the log burner in the lounge.. You have everything you need in the property and the super clean. It's a great location and easy to get to Lymington ,lyndhurst, and Christchurch. Fantastic stay. Thank you for checking in on us, and the check-in instructions were spot on.
