Genuinely a hidden gem. Cleaning is above excellent, would not be surprised if they also dusted the ceiling every day. Heating is set to a comfortable setting but you can adjust as preferred. Plenty of parking Quiet Idyllic Generous bedding and wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows Hot shower ( a bit fiddly but you’ll get it) Modern Easy to use stove with extra utensils, cutlery, pots, pans, colander plates, glasses, cups, oven trays, salt & pepper provided. As well as more. Amenities are local but a car is needed Kitchen facilities as advertised - no washing machine, or microwave but has an air fryer (just so that you know) - you don’t miss it, trust me The actual annexe Par for none, - spacious, designed to an excellent finish, generously comfortable and enjoyable. Again the cleaning, seriously spotless. The little touches like behind the sink and toilet. You can eat off the sink. Sky TV (huge) with all the usual channels plus Netflix, Amazon Prime etc (own account needed for the subscribtive channels). Hosting You will propose to Sam. No request is too large, goes out of her way again and again to truly welcome you so that you can enjoy. Currently book this for work but did arrive with my mum once - there’s one bed and I did not wish to share … Sam rustled up an adult cot with bedding in less than 30, (I did not ask, she just wished me to be comfy) Very approachable, speedy and easy to reach. Leaves local details in the annex so that you can find your way around, nearest cafe, cab numbers, nearest shops etc. Welcomes you with a beautiful welcome basket ( won’t spoil it by letting you know of the contents - but you will be happy). No photos uploaded as it looks even better than the photos provided. I waited a while to review as needed to know how best to truly describe - simply put it’s flawless. Needless to say I book this as often as possible. If she had this in London, l’d flipping move in.

I had difficulty with the shower controls.

The property was tardis-like in its spaciousness. The garden is pretty and practical. The welcome basket and fridge stock was generous and high standard. Easy to arrive and leave without complication on a quick stay. The house is fitted out to a very high standard and was warm, immaculately presented and very comfortable.

We noticed that the electric boiler for the hot water tap in the kitchen had tripped out and couldn’t be reset, and the house was a bit on the warm side when we arrived but easily turned down.
