Modern flat in Egham by Royal Holloway University Royal Ascot and Windsor near Heathrow Airport

Location was good and host was very helpful

No glasses in the kitchen and items needed cleaned before use

Comfortable spot, nicely furnished and well equipped. Location was ideal and on road parking was available nearby. It was freezing cold when I travelled but had no trouble getting the flat to a comfortable temperature using the plug in radiator provided.

Could have used an extra roll of toilet paper but there was a little convenience store close by so no major issue. Be mindful that parking close to the property is 30min maximum stay after 8am so need to park further away if staying during the day.

It was clean, comfortable, and very well situated for our purposes. The option of a secure parking space was very helpful.

It was very small; not a problem for us as we were only staying one night, and really only needed a place to sleep, but for a longer stay that might not have stirred so well

The "apartment" definition is completely misleading: this is not an apartment, it's (probably) a garage converted into 2 rooms, one kitchenette and living room, the other is a bedroom where there is no space for anything else than the bed a very tiny wardrobe and yourself. If I was there with my partner, it would be difficult to go to the bathroom during the night without waking her up. The living room/kitchenette/second bed is freezing cold because there are considerable gaps around the door, no sealing: this morning the kitchen was freezing cold so, no one would be able to sleep there and not being cold. This is not an apartment, there is no real heating (only an electric heater): i fell into the lie instead of going to the nearby Travelodge that is 1000 times better, more comfortable and, in comparison, immensely more spacious and better value for money
