The privacy, quality of the fixtures/fittings. Every possible utensil you’d neeed was present in good condition and clean. Very thought that they provided a fan in the bedroom too. Both front and rear outdoor areas were lovely as was the hot tub.

Photos don’t do it justice, lovely view from the cabin and a lot more spacious than previous cabins we’ve stayed in. Would not hesitate to book again if we’re visiting the area.

When we arrived the owner/staff member came past with a fan as it was a heat wave, very kind of him to do that. Great location, parking and well explained directions / check in process. Loved the seating area, hot tub, layout of Lodge was good and it was so quiet and peaceful. Big fridge, T/C/S not that we used it but was plenty there. Two TVS too! Outside bin right for just our lodge which is perfect as so many places have no bins near by.

Not sure if the hot tub is emptied between stays or if just cleaned but although it was clean it was extremely bubbly when the jets were on, complete white bubbles. This could be normal but i've been to many hot tub stays and never had seen that before but might be different use of cleaning products.

The location is great, very quiet with wildlife all around. Sainsbury's is only 15 minutes drive if needing a food shop.

The lodge was situated in a lovely location, with the lakeside views a big positive for us. We loved sitting watching the birds and the ducks. The front area was enclosed and our dog loved out in this area. The hot tub was great and was at the perfect temperature when we arrived. The bathroom and kitchen was modern.

The hot tub patio area at the back of the cabin was not secure for our small dog so we could not let him out here without being on the lead. We understand how quick cobwebs can appear after cleaning but if the property had left something for us to clean them with, then we could have done so as there was a lot throughout the property in the corners of the rooms and outside on the garden furniture, windows and doors. We heard nothing from the owners apart from a message online 3 days before we arrived.

Lovely and peaceful. No one bothered you. Beautiful place. Would definatly return. Only one problem. We didnt want to come home 😀
