East Learmouth Lakeside Lodges - Larch Lodge

The cabin was perfect! Had everything you need for a lovely stay. The location was amazing aswell so quiet and peaceful with no distractions, there is also a small town nearby with a co-op & premier if you need any food/drinks. Hot tub was amazing and easy to use! Bed was comfy and best sleep I’ve had in ages! Definitely planning to come back here:)

No wifi so if your signal is poor you may not be able to access internet/TV. An optional gazebo would have been nice to set up over the hot tub but wasn’t an issue, just a suggestion.

Loved our stay here - the lodge is cosy and comfortable. It’s beautiful inside and the views are amazing!

I came here with my partner and the privacy and quiet surrounding area were amazing. The lodge was beautiful even with the bad weather we encountered on one of the nights.

The only thing that could be done to improve the stay would be if they installed internet due to poor phone signal whilst there.

The location was amazing. The lodge was exceptional. Well located, peaceful and quiet. This is our second stay in Learmouth and the first lodge was amazing this one was even better. Lake in the middle which, on waking was just beautiful to look our over. The hot tub was private and just amazing. The layout of the lodge was exceptional, along with everything that you need. This may be a daft thing but the oven was amazing to cook with. Normally lodges that we stay in the oven doesn't work properly but this one did. The bed was super comfy, and the shower was amazing. the whole place was thoroughly spotless. We will definitely be back

Just a minor detail. I mean really small, but the lodge just lacked comfy seating. I know there is some dining room chairs which you can sit on and they are great. But in the morning, with a cuppa, you want to be able to sit on comfy seats. Thats all. it definitely is not a game changer and we will be back, as despite that the place is amazing.

The location was amazing. Idyllic and quiet. The lakeside view itself was amazing. The Lodge was beautiful inside and the hot tub was well maintained.

No greeting at all by staff other than online. Would be good if they popped round and checked everything was OK additionally we got lucky with the weather but had it been raining heavily would not have made use of the hot tub since there was no cover or canopy. Found the check out info by mistake when looking in the lodge information stack.

The facilities were beautiful, the kitchen and table area was lovely and the bedroom was very cosy. The hot tub was the highlight of our trip, we enjoyed it lots.

The cleanliness was shocking and what made it more dirty was how many flies there were inside in the cabin. They even had a fly zapper already there on the kitchen counter and seeing all the dead flies inside and hearing new flies being killed was disgusting. Felt very unhygienic being in the kitchen. The carpet in the bedroom needs to be replaced by either the same floor used in the kitchen or bathroom or just something other than a carpet, as there's too much foot traffic and it's very unhygienic. Especially because pets are allowed to stay and you don't know what pets are just using the carpet as their toilet. My dachshund would not stop sniffing around and the bed itself, the base of it looked as though it was missing wood or something and there must have been something under there because my dog was trying to get under it. It was just all very dirty and for £300 it was not worth it at all. Also outside where the hit tub is the fence has missing panels and my dog escaped through it, luckily he came back but it's not dog friendly at all and you have to put up the metal barrier as well to make a make shift gated area. My partner and I didn't even stay the second night, we decided to go home early and we've never had to do that previous trips away to places. So, I think that says it all.
