Gonzalos's Guest Apartments - Alfama Terrace

Location with the tram right outside was ideal. Nice apartment with comfortable beds, big sofa, modern kitchen and big windows so lots of light. Owner was very attentive and reacted professionally to a few problems we had.

The terrace decking area was very slippery (needed power spray cleaning) discussed this with the owner so for the next guests it should be clean! Also other things as one chair had a broken slat and there were no cushions at all for the outdoor furniture. No lock/key for the bathroom door. Bedrooms are very small. No parking.

The apartment was actually much nicer than the pictures led us to believe. We were quite surprised at how big it felt. The host greeted us with some pastries and some alcohol, such a nice touch! We felt right at home at this place and really enjoyed our stay here

Incredible location next to the Miradouro of Lisbon in the Alfama area. it is spacious and clean with a beautiful terrace. very well equipped kitchen.

Location and private terrace, beds were comfortable and water pressure.

Mold in bathroom shower. Dirt and dust underneath beds. The freezer was a block of ice and at least one of the towels provided was stained. No way of getting out of unit if one guest locks door behind them when someone is still inside as you are unable to unlock door from inside.

Host was easy to contact. The apartment is located really well, right next to one of the miradouros. The terrace was great to enjoy in the evenings. The kitchen was properly equipped.

The biggest issue was the black mold in the bathroom. It was caused by poor ventilation and it spread everywhere - in the shower, behind the mirror etc. Luckily none of us are sensitive to mold spores. I let the host know at the end of our stay, he said I should have notified them earlier so they'd send someone? The apartment should have been clean to begin with, I wanted to enjoy my vacation without people roaming around the apartment. I was promised a partial refund, which I never received. Overall apartment looked like it was cleaned in a hurry. Plates and cutlery in the kitchen were mostly dirty, the area under the toilet seat was also untouched after the last guests.

Great location, very nice spacious apartament, cool patio, perfect for morning coffee or wine in the afternoon.

Everything was great. Just remember to close the windows at night as trams are loud and might be disturbing.

The location, view, and quiet sleeping quarters were all AMAZING and well worth the price. My husband particularly enjoyed the showerhead, and it was very helpful to have access to a washer for our clothes. The proximity of excellent coffee (go say hi to Sandra at Café do Electrico), pastel de nata, brunch, and taxis made our stay that much easier. We even hired a tuktuk to take us all the way to the docks and had quite the adventure. Also, the gentleman at the gelato place downstairs was very helpful, while we were waiting to check in. The only critiques were that the fan didn't work and that there were plenty of extra pillows for the beds, but no extra pillow cases. There were also no pillow cases on the largest pillows set on the beds, so we didn't really feel comfortable using them without covers but could have really used more than the single, thin pillows on the beds. I imagine that if we had asked, someone would have brought covers for us, but we never got around to it. Besides that, we would definitely stay here again, should we return to Lisbon.

Great location! Had everything that we could want. The lovely lady that checked us in gave us some excellent hints and tips for our stay. Overall very happy with the stay
