Gonzalos's Guest Apartments - Alfama Terrace

Lovely apartment, great location - the old tram is right outside.

The location is really great. It’s up to 10 minutes by walk to the central area.

We loved the location, though the tram No.28 passing would cause some noise, but this was part of the vibe of Lisbon, this was what we wanted to experience and the bedroom wasn't facing the road so it didn't bother while sleeping.

The only downside was the bathroom, the shower didn't drain away very properly, the floor flooded easily if you turn the water too strong and taking shower too long.

Gonzalo is unparalleled compared to any other place we've rented before. The location is perfect, just below the Santa Luzia viewpoint and within walking distance of all major sites (we didn't use public transport at all). The apartment is well-equipped, much more than any other short-term rental. And their team assisted us on a Saturday evening in no time when we experienced an issue, which was, by the way, entirely our own fault.

The apartment was new, spacious, and really well-equipped. The location was also very nice. And the beautiful terrace was a lovely bonus! The owner was very customer-oriented, he left us welcome sweets and sent his representative to ask if we needed anything. Moreover, he kept texting us to see if everything was ok. He even called a taxi for us to take us to the airport. We highly recommend this place!

Everything was perfect!

1. The apartment is beautiful. The furnishing and aesthetic is nice. 2. The location being Alfama is great. It has everything you could need nearby. Even tram 28. 3. They had nextlix as well !!

1. Being right next to the tram line , you can hear the trams all day and night. 2. The walls of the house and within the house aren't soundproof. You can listen to the other room very clearly. 3. The balcony area should have had some sort of shade. Every morning of our stay it drizzled and we couldn't even sit there. 4. The shower doesn't have a clear marking of hot/cold water , we had a hard time figuring it out. 5. There is no shelf in the shower for you to place your own supplies like face wash or whatever. 6. There was no place to hang the bath towel once showered. We used the heater in the washroom. But then the area between the shower and sink would get wet and slippery. 7. There should be one floor length mirror in the house. 8. Every room must have a dustbin. There was one in the kitchen and one tiny one in the washroom next to the toilet.
