Beautiful 3BD Family Retreat in Oxfordshire

The location is ideal, equidistant between many of the attractions of the Cotswolds. There were foxes roaming the back garden and birdsong rang throughout the morning. It's a really pleasant place. Warm and inviting. Thank you

The house was lovely; very warm atmosphere and peaceful location. The garden and the green spaces make the house the perfect place to stay for a relaxing holiday in the center of the Costwolds.

Loads of little blackboards telling you not to do things (in some cases ‘we forbid you to…’). Very very unwelcoming. Felt like being told off in every room. We counted 15 boards! Made us nervous about using anything so we left well before check out. This has been raised in previous reviews and the company has said they will consider how they can make it better but no changes have been implemented. Felt like they wanted our money but us staying was a huge inconvenience. Log burner still broken when we stayed end of November - was broken in May as someone mentioned it in a review but no one has bothered to fix it yet it’s still being advertised. Property very cold. Entrance to driveway very narrow. Windows all locked or with a warning sign telling us not to open them. Hate to think how we’d get out if there was a fire. We arrived late at night in the dark and rain and had been sent the wrong key code. They did provide the correct one on the phone.

- Very clean house, well decorated and furnished well - Modern kitchen amenities - Comfy beds - Quiet, peaceful area with a pub, station and short drive to Chipping Norton - Plenty of parking and outdoor space

- Too many signs...it seemed that everywhere you looked in whichever room, there was a sign telling you what not to do! It did make it feel as if we were not allowed to do anything - Only one bathroom and toilet, which proved a bit difficult in the mornings with 4 adults staying

Mooie locatie, sfeervol ingericht, goede keuken, fijne bedden, lekkere tuin om buiten te kunnen zitten.

De vele ‘regels’ overal op bordjes en in de mails maken het net wat minder ontspannen.
