A friendly pub in a quiet, village like location.

Bathroom had no external window so smelt a bit damp.

Friendly staff, pretty location

Convenient and staff were great.

Dirty room stains on carpet. Room needed updating. Toilet made noises all night when flushed in ours and other rooms. Broken sleep. Bathroom filthy

Great out of town location with easy access to the centre and good local facilities. Free parking. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Characterful!

Food could be improved. Bathroom plumbing very noisy.

an old property with lots of history. Not posh probably needed a refurb however staff were great location great , food was good, ideal for the two days we were in Liverpool.

Its heritage and history, the locals were hospitable too.

The property is a 500 year old building. Has alot of character and ambience. In a fabulous location.

Being an old building it had problems with water pressure to the bathroom. Once used to what needed to be done to flush the toilet it proved to ba a fabulous stay.
