The cottage is a great size. We only stayed for one night. But it would be more than comfortable to stay for longer.

As we booked the old dutch house as a unit, we got a little room in another place, with no mattresses or bedding. Had to collect matresses and odd bedding. The place was full of people everywhere as the roads were closed. The guesthouse did not even received Booking.com notigication of our booking till the next morning and was overbooked. But paid R2246 for nothing and cant seem to get a refund of any sort from the host. Only excuses.

We had a wonderful experience staying in the Cape Dutch house. The house is beautiful and big and well maintained. The gardens are lovely with a lovely walkway leading up to the house that has a fountain. When we walked in there was already a fire going in the fireplace. There was a beautiful vase of flowers in the dinning room. It was so welcoming. The kitchen is lovely and big and fully equipped. It is great that you can experience living in an old style farmhouse but have the luxury of WiFi and streaming any program on Tv. The tv in the dinning room is so nice and big and I think it was the best rugby game we have ever watched on TV. The garden outside is lovely and we had lovely braai’s. It was a very comfortable stay.

Everything was perfect.
