Stylish Stay in Vibrant Salford, Manchester!

Location was good as it was close to all the places we needed to get too. Had to collect the keys from a corner shop - this was fine however you struggle to park near it. House was nice and spacious.

The wifi did not work during the entire stay which is annoying and not helpful when you have teenagers. Host kept sending different codes for WIFI however none of them worked. The house was nice but there were areas that were not clean. There is also CCTV at the front door inside the house which we found weird.

Location was okay, spacious.

Unclean, woodlice running along carpet upstairs, oven broken and filthy inside, all pans unusable for cooking, shower head broken, shower temp changer broken, bathroom vent broken, sheets and towels dirty… complained and had NO response, and over charged for the late checkout as their poster in house says £30, online charges £50. House was not worth the £400 for 2 nights at all. Blinds and lights broken and flickering which impacted my epilepsy.

Mattresses were very springy and was alot of paint spilt but ok for what we need. Picking and dropping keys off was not ideal I suggest a lock box on site.

The company who manage the property were in regular communication up until check in and called the day before to check we had all the info for check in. The property is a good size for the group size (except the table which was for 4) and it's a reasonable price. It's basic but has what you need. It's located close to the tram stop and on good bus routes. There is a Lidl very close also and other amenities.

Upon check in the house hadn't been cleaned, no towels, no toilet roll, the bin was full and it was dirty. We contacted the managing agent and awaited a response. I called numerous times without being able to get back through and after 1.5 hours we called back for an update and they informed me the cleaners will attend in the next half an hour which they did. Due to this they've refunded the late check out fee as compensation. It was incredibly stressful! They take a £300 security deposit 24 hours before check in which seems quite unnecessary as the house is basic, this also takes up to 5 working days to be returned.
