Beautiful 1 Bed Shepherd Hut in Warwickshire

The hut is set in a beautiful location with views over open fields with beautiful cows and calves roaming, if your lucky enough you will have two hares come to visit you. The hut is fitted out and dressed to a fantastic standard, with everything you need for your stay. On arrival in the hut is was greeted with a lovely vase of roses, a bottle of wine, and tea, coffee, sugar and a pint of milk to have a nice cuppa when you arrive. Amy and Dan are great hosts and are available for any questions or queries you have. The hut is a great destination for your needs, just chilling and relaxing in a very beautiful and peaceful place or as a base for exploring the beautiful attractions and locations all within a short drive.

Great place to stay and get away from all the hustle and hustle of life

Nothing not like

Had a lovely stay, was very clean and comfortable. Lovely hot shower, hut stayed warm all night. I really enjoyed my stay. The view from the hut is beauitiful and waking up to the calfs bouncing and playing in the field, was lovely. Also the friendly cat, that greeted me, every day 😃 Fresh flowers and a bottle of wine was waiting for me when i arrived - which was lovely, thank you!

The fridge was not switched on before my arrival and i did not realise until the last day. Most of my food went off. I would have expected it would have already been done before my arrival. I like to cook, so a microwave or hotplate would have been ideal, as i could not cook vegetables in the airfryer. Apart from that, its a lovely place to stay and will book again, i enjoyed my stay so much!

Just had a lovely weekend at the shepherds hut couldn't have been nicer and will definitely go back. Thanks to Amy and keep up the good work.

The location for a concert at Warwick Castle was ideal.

Sad to hear the road noise from the motorway, not the easiest place to locate. Needs an alternative to an air fryer, but Amy very kindly lent us a saucepan. No corkscrew but otherwise beautifully appointed. Somehow devise a shelf/table to accommodate stuff by the bed - glasses, phones etc.

Its location to my family.

It was very uncomfortable bed, no stove or oven to cook with but there were pans to use. Airfryer only but no instructions to use it so we couldn’t self cater apart from toast ( excellent toaster and kettle!) Asked for hairdryer but got no response from owners and found it on last day when cleaning to leave, it is in a basket under the sofa! Bathroom door does not close unless pushed from outside and then impossible to get out without someone pushing from outside! Door warped. Nowhere to hang anything and no shelves to put anything on. All cleaning products bottles left were empty and so bought my own and took home after cleaning. Impossible to sleep with curtains as lie against them, blinds would be better as curtains move when you do…. or keep open all night and then the light and the cockerel wake you up at 5.30 am.

It was just charming! Every time I arrived there and opened the door I could not help but smile. It just has that “something” which made me happy just to be there. It was incredibly well designed and laid out and the owners went out of their way to make it cosy and welcoming, also with a lovely vase of fresh flowers and bottle of prosecco on arrival. Sitting on the hut steps or the picnic table, having my tea with a view out onto the fields was so relaxing. The weather also behaved so we had lovely aperitivo and dinner outside on the picnic table.

There was nothing I did not like.

How peaceful it was, the hut was well equipped and clean, it's a great location for Warwick Castle and the Cotswolds. Our hosts you couldn't fault so friendly and they even helped getting my drone out of a tree, what more could you ask for. Would go again.
