Delightful Cottage in Sandwich - One Bedroom

Great location very comfortable. Very spacious for a 1 bedroom property

Shower temperature was a little tricky to control.

Location very good. Facilities very good apart from the shower. The thermostat did not work, consequently the water was scalding so it was impossible to have a shower. Finally got it fixed on the fifth day.

No guide on how to use the television.

Idea quiet location, perfect size for us as a couple. Lovely to have a garden. Very tasteful furnishings and extremely comfortable. Everything you could possibly need.

Lovely cosy cottage with character. Really like the convenience of the utility room with washing machine and drier and extra wc at the end of the property, and loved the fact that the property had traditional furniture (French Bateau Bed and traditional type leather sofas). Nice big sturdy kitchen table was appreciated. Lovely calm vibe throughout and some great books too - thank you!

There was nothing not to like. However, just as very minor quibbles indeed, and really just to ensure our additional comfort on our next visit (!) we could have done with some additional basic equipment like scissors in the kitchen and a couple more mugs so we didn't need to keep re-washing them rather than putting in the dishwasher, and the ironing board was so crazily heavy to heave out of the upstairs cupboard, I was afraid of damaging something (or myself) setting it up. Other than these very minor quibbles, everything was lovely.

Ideal location for the town, lovely walks on your doorstep. Very comfortable. Nice to have such a good standard of property that is dog friendly. Cottage is very well equipped, everything you could want is there. Lovely stay

Garden furniture could do with a refresh but nice having outside space, especially with a dog. Parking not outside so bit of a pain unloading but we were aware of this and car park is 2 mins walk.

Beautifully decorated and very welcoming.

Difficult to contact the manager prior to our visit. Lots of rules and regulations and a £300 deposit fee for a two night stay which then takes 10 days to get back! The garden is very overlooked which didn’t bother us but in the summer could be irritating.
