Lucky Waterfront at Straits Quay Seaview or Non

Seaview waterfront Clean and tidy studio room Peaceful & Quiet Friendly and helpful host.

The magnetic key for the lift seems not functioning well, at times I had to scan 4-8 times in order to for it to work, pending on luck i think, strongly recommend this to be changed. Luckily I wasn't stranded.

We stayed at ‘Stay with Cody’ apartment number 3C-3-3A. We stayed during August 2024. Straits Quay is a fabulous location. This is a Nice spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms and one main bedroom. Great size kitchen. Washing machine and tv with Netflix and YouTube etc. Nice big balcony. Great ceiling fans and A/C. Very nice supermarket downstairs and lots of good restaurants nearby. Oven, microwave and 4 x electric cooktop. Apartment overlooks marina and there is a view down to a gurney drive.

I found Cody to be rude and non-professional with his communication with me. The customer should be treated with courtesy and respect at all times and not seen as $$$ only in the eyes of the property host/manager. For example I asked Cody if he knew any place we could leave our baggage for a few hours and he replied he is not a hotel so can’t help us. He couldn’t make any suggestions so I went and asked the security guard in the lobby and he was more than happy to look after baggage for us. The host double booked our accomodation and simply said to me via email change booking dates or cancel your stay and I must ask booking dot com for a full refund. This was a week after we booked so a bit confused how they could double book? We found another apartment in the complex for the days we couldntstay anymore and hence needed to store our bags from checkout time to check in time in new apartment. They only supplied one key! When I asked why not 2 keys he said for security reasons and I must ‘respect the policies of management!!.’ When I said the other apartment we stayed in at straits quays gave us 2 keys he said well he is cheaper than them (although price we actually the same) This is the kind of unprofessional BS I had to take from Cody! So when me or the wife went out without a key we had to ask the security guard in the lobby to let us in and activate the lift for us!! Great way to have a holiday. THANKS CODY! This apartment has a broken door that needs servicing. It jams when opening and closing. My wife found it very hard/impossible to open/close by herself. I understand doors expand and contract with high Humidity climates but get the door serviced!! They do not supply any teaspoons or bowls so get used to eating cereal/porridge/rice etc out of a saucepan or coffee cup. The range of crockery and cutlery is very poor. Also no glass tumblers/ cups for juice/water etc. This apartment it’s located in the western wing on level3.

The apartment has a gorgeous view, it was this that made the whole experience. It was clean and well equipped and the pool was just a short distance from the front door.

The restaurant on the ground floor was quite noisy, especially on the weekend.

No hair shampoo. No response to requests.

Loved the location, lots of eateries nearby and the beautiful marina to view. Security staff at the property were extremely helpful and it was easy for Grab cars to find. Cody was really responsive and made everything easy. I loved this apartment.

Struggled with the check-in/check-out lock box as the lock was small and stiff, hard to see the numbers and had to kneel on the ground in a dark dirty maintenance area to access the lock ( NB No lights in this area at all for very early check-outs so needed a torch to see at all.) Its also a long walk from the apartment for anyone with a heavy suitcase so make sure you have wheels! A larger lock and a higher mailbox or even a simple plastic mat under the mailbox would make this 100% better.

Cody is a great host. The room was so clean and huge. Love the sea view from the room. Exactly like in the picture. Very convenient location. Nearby a lot of restaurants and grocery. The house was soundproof, i think.. So quiet. Love the swimming pool. Will repeat my stay here.

I love everything about this place

The location and the pool are great.

The apartment is prolly maintained and absolutely not set up for cooking in the tiny kitchen. The host did not want to provide more than the minimum.
