Stunning King Suite Apartment in the heart of Leeds City Center

Great communication with the host and nice and tidy when we arrived.

Beds weren’t super comfy, but for the price, they were good!

Location and exterior

The interior was very shabby - tables with lots of chips out, stained rugs and furniture, cracked floor tiles throughout, black mould in all showers, large damp patches in all downstairs rooms. Stained mattress protectors/mattresses (didn’t dare look at pillows), dirty towels and bed linen with stains and hairs (clearly hadn’t been changed). Months worth or dust, other personal use items under one of the beds. Dirty, sticky floors throughout and filthy windows. Kitchen area - broken freezer drawers (hadn’t been emptied either), cracked and dirty worktops, oven door and hob. Notified owner on arrival re no towels in one room and unchanged bedding. After his initial insistence he had video evidence of how clean and ready the property was prior to our arrival, he sent new bedding and two towels. None of the other matters were addressed and no apology received. We were told that the owner is aware of the damp/black mould and some other issues. Would expect a full refund due to the filthy/shabby/poor state of what is described as “stunning”. BTW we had no alternative but to stay at the property as we were here for graduation and everywhere within a reasonable distance was fully booked!!

Fantastic little place was perfect

The location was great.

There were 5 of us but there were only 4 mugs and not really enough room in the lounge for us all to sit comfortably. Only 4 dining chairs too.
