"Great place"

The apartment is so cozy and clean, and the team from Lara Studio were very accessible and helpful. It is the perfect place to stay if you plan to be in the city for a few days, the kitchen is well equipped, there is plenty of space for storage and the washing machine is really handy and as the city is relatively small its only a 10/15 min drive to city center. We spend seven days in a road trip in Iceland, we’ve been to five different hotels and guest houses, and Lara is by far the best one we stayed.

Lovely studio with comfortable beds and very quiet, so a good nights sleep is assured. What we were particularly impressed with was all the little extras which can make a big difference. Drinks in the fridge, including a bottle of Prosecco, chocolates, sauces & herbs, toiletries, bathrobes, etc were all supplied for free. Even a few fresh red roses! Best place we’ve stayed to date.

Great quiet residential location. Great to have parking right out front. Owners left complimentary drinks in the fridge, a pastry from a local cafe, and a robe and slippers for bath use. Went above and beyond to make the place comfortable even for just an overnight stay

Luckily it wasn’t an issue but I noticed the door locks automatically behind you and that was not warned so that could have been an issue had I left the key inside while unloading the vehicle

Kitchen equipment is plentiful if you want to cook a meal. Nice touches eg. Nespresso machine, chocolate and slippers. Lara is a wonderful host. Very helpful and caring.

Ceiling is rather low and may feel claustrophobic if you are tall.
