Everything was perfect

What did we like? Everything 😀 There's not enough space here to write it all. This little house was ideal for us, warm, cosy and simply beautiful. Everything was clean and well maintained. The owners are very helpful people and take a lot of care of the property and visitors. And the home made welcome cake was delicious, thank you Ruth! The place is already outside the village in a very quiet place yet a short walking distance to the pub and basic shop. The views are stunning, especially from the bath tub. And last but not least the animals around, especially the owners dog - Missy

Accommodation clean & comfortable, the log fire was great, the hosts were brilliant with any query we had, the hot tub was amazing.

A really lovely little place. The decor has been really thoughtfully done and every little touch is lovely. Ruth, the owner is helpful and friendly and gives a warm welcome. The local pub Y Castell does great food and the pizzas at Dough Diddley's are fab. The view from the hot tub is exceptional. We will definitely be back.

The only thing I can think of is they could do with some bigger mugs for our morning cuppa.

The views are incredible and the accommodation was clean and very comfortable. The shower was great, the log burner got the place warm and cosy quickly. We enjoyed the hot tub and how private it was

We had an amazing weekend stay the charming Golchdy. The space is cozy, beautifully maintained, and ideal for anyone looking to relax and recharge. The views are absolutely stunning, and the outdoor space is ideal for appreciating it! We were kept cosy and dry under the outdoor heater, despite the chilly Welsh night and the rain. Privacy was a big plus for us and this place really delivered. It felt like our own little slice of paradise, tucked away from the world. Ruth and Eirian were exceptional hosts. They were so kind, friendly and helpful! They even baked us a delicious cake and gave us lifts! It's only a short walk to the lovely pub. The location is ideal, and we highly recommend this spot for couples or solo travelers looking for a peaceful escape with all the right touches.

The views. The outdoor space. The location. Great to be such a short walk from the local pub where we went for dinner and you'll be spoilt for choice if you like a decent hike - Wonderful spot! Really loved that we could use the hot tub so easily (and this wasn't an additional cost like other places can throw in last minute). Also loved the animals, lots of cuddles from the cats and one of the 3 dogs too. Whilst the field you're in is animal free, you're next to horses, sheep and then the family pets can easily come and say hello.

Personally I wouldn't call this "Luxury" at all - Whilst it is great for the price, there are a few things that fell short. Overall, I found the inside a little bit dirty. There is everything you could need, which unfortunately means that there's a lot to clean too. I'm not sure all the cutlery and kitchen items were cleaned before we arrived. There was also a lot of unnecessary things that just created a bit of a messy vibe with lots of dust and cobwebbs, especially under the bed which is your only storage. Most things in the food cupboard were open too which makes me question the cleanliness - multiple hot chocolate options, honey, jam, marmalades etc. all less than half full with no date on when they were originally opened. The bed is quite small so I would say it's not great for anyone overly tall, I'm certainly not tall (5"5) but with two in the bed, we struggled to straighten our legs when we slept. It could do with just a little attention to detail, removing anything unnecessary and focussing on the overall experience.
