The bed was a bit uncomfortable

This was a booking from hell. There was absolutely nothing to like about this stay; it was a complete disappointment from start to finish.

During a recent 10-day booking labeled as "dreams accommodation," my experience took a nightmarish turn, becoming one of my most disappointing encounters. As I set foot inside, the evident lack of proper cleaning for years became apparent. The entire space, including the bathroom, bedroom, every corner, exuded dirtiness and an alarming lack of hygiene. Neglected carpets and a distressingly unsanitary bathroom further exacerbated the ordeal. Swiftly, I reached out to the landlord to express my distress over these deplorable conditions. My concerns, unfortunately, were met with indifference, leaving me in a position of grappling with the grim reality of inhabiting such a repulsive environment. In an attempt to salvage the situation, I spent £15 on cleaning supplies, a futile effort to make the space somewhat habitable, although this was far from my intended purpose for the stay. Repeated efforts to reason with both the landlord and Booking.com ensued, leading to the latter's request for photo evidence of the accommodation's abhorrent state. Following the submission of these images, Booking.com acknowledged the dire situation and concurred with my decision to vacate. They pledged the landlord would fully reimburse me. However, these assurances swiftly crumbled. Instead of the complete refund guaranteed, a mere £81 out of the initial £587.81 was returned. Booking.com deflected responsibility, asserting the funds had already been disbursed to the landlord, who now refused to refund the remaining amount, undermining my rights as a guest and countless hours squandered on calls. The landlord concocted a false narrative, claiming to have sent cleaning personnel. This blatant fabrication only underscored the extent of the accommodation's neglect. Despite this, no genuine efforts to rectify the situation or provide a refund materialized.

I like the space, especially the kitchen

what needs to be improved is the availability of a telephone number, where we can call and be answered.

The room was not the same as the fotos, there was no body wash gel/soap in the shower, I’ve mentioned it to the staff after the first night but they didn’t bothered to fix it

Good hosts. Nice bed, sheets and blankets. easy to check in late at night.
