Løk Historics luxury art-inspired loft in historic city centre!

Very convenient location and Susan was the perfect host. Many shops, restaurants, and grocery stores within a few minutes walking distance. Train station was a 7 minute walk door to door.

Must be able to navigate steep stairs and we had no problem even though we are in our mid-sixties.

Great location. Loved the little details of the loft and how it respects time and tradition . No issues with checking or any info needed...

Nothing. Stairs are steep as advised but that 1600 buildings nd great to keep it that way.

This was a super cute rental in the middle of Haarlem and easy walk from the train station. It had everything we needed for a short stay and we found it to be very comfortable. This was the first shower that I took in all of Europe with water that go hot enough for me, so I enjoyed the lovely shower and cozy bathrobe offered. Communication with the host, Susan, was very easy and she provided us with ideas for restaurants, bike rentals, etc. The apartment is recently renovated and is located in a part of town where cars can't drive, so we found it to be very quiet. There is a small patio, which is perfect for enjoying the small welcome bottle of wine left for us by the host. The decor is a cool mixture of modern and antique and there was a lot of attention paid to detail.

The apartment is perfectly appointed for a couple of days, but it doesn't have a full kitchen, so it may not be ideal for long-term stays. There are two sets of stairs leading to the apartment, which were no problem for us, but may be a challenge for others. There are low beams from the ceilings, so for those who are very tall, this may be a consideration. I'm 5'2 and my husband is 5'10 and we didn't have any issues.

Lovely stay at the Løk! The loft apartment was very comfortable, perfectly heated for the winter months. The hosts and owner definitely care for quality in all aspects. The bed was very comfortable. Location was great! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to those staying in Haarlem.

We enjoyed everything about the property! The location was perfect, easy to get everywhere as the train/bus station is within a 6/7 minute walk, eveyrhing was clean, the wifi was strong, netflix, prime, youtube etc were all included, the patio was a lovely touch, plenty of fresh flowers in the apartment it had absolutely everything you needed plus some nice extra’s e.g. robes, bottle of Prosecco and shower products.
