USLocation was good - on a quiet street, right off of Rizal so easy to walk down to the restaurants and bars in town. A few stores nearby where you can buy water and such. Really close to the Taraw Cliff canopy walk and only a 5 min walk to the main beachfront street/corner. Staff was nice, helped carry my bag in and showed me where I could hose off my shoes, said hello every time I came in. The hot water for me worked, though I heard someone else complaining about it once. My AC was fine - in particular one night it worked really well actually. There is filtered water provided (good for brushing teeth) and a little patio area on the second floor by the rooms that nice and open.
However, maybe I should've expected this because of the price (it was cheap, especially since I went during peak season when there were SO many sold out hotels) but there were definitely some problems. There were bugs in my room - the little annoying gnat/moth like bugs that aren't necessarily doing anything but it made me feel gross and annoyed. A few ants too. The toilet occasionally had a hard time flushing (like twice, but worked when it mattered I suppose). WiFi worked pretty well for the most part but there also are no 3 prong outlet in the room (or the entire hotel apparently, I asked) so I couldn't charge my laptop which is kind of insane (if you need to do work - you really can't from here!). Finally, there was also a terrible smell one of the nights that I do not know where it was coming from. Maybe it was my expectations/what I'm used to but I just should've shelled out more money even as a solo traveler. I mean, I still expect a minimum quality of standard I suppose and like...I probably couldve dealt with just the 5 ants I saw or maybe a few little gnat things but the amount I killed/saw just...not great. If you are pretty chill as a person and just need a place to literally sleep then you might be fine but I put a lot of detail just to lay it all out.
GBThe room was clean and the bed comfortable. The location was great, very close to the centre but really quiet. A real value for money stop!
FIGreat location and drinking water always available from dispenser.
Room wasnt cleaned until explicitly verbally asking for it after four days. The ac was really noisy.

GBOur room was comfortable and clean with a window. We had hot water throughout our stay. The seating area upstairs overlooking the street was nice to have. Location is perfect.
We had some misinformation from reception staff when booking a tour (e.g what was included in the price) but otherwise they were very friendly. We woke up to drain flys in our bathroom one morning but staff sorted it straight away.
GB1. Property is in El Nido town so can walk to restaurants, bars, beaches near by. 2. It was a basic room- a bed with a sheet, some shelves (no hangers or wardrobe door), with an ensuite. If looking for a basic place to rest your head for the night this is it.
1. When arrived there was no one at the front desk, even though we told them we were arriving 11:30pm at night and they confirmed our late check in request. The phone number on the wall by the check in desk didn’t work. We just asked a local outside of they knew where the staff were, they went down the alleyway by the property and came back with the check in staff. 2. Whilst the room was “clean”, random black dust/ dirt/ debris was falling from the ceiling or aircon (we aren’t sure) so we could wake up with what looked like black sand over the bed, and could feel it falling on us in the night. After our second night and we spoke to the staff whom cleaned the room and it stopped happening. Not sure what it was or how it was landing on the bed but they must of known as they cleaned up the source so it stopped happening. 3. The en-suite was tiny, the shower is directly next to the toilet with no curtain so when you shower the whole bathroom and toilet gets wet. Moreover, it had a hot water box but it didn’t seem to work so cold showers only.
