Luxurious 3-Bed Penthouse in Sheffield

The rooms are spacious and the water pressure was good

I I am extremely dissatisfied with the condition of this flat and the lack of response from the managing company. The bedrooms were inadequately furnished, containing only a bed and a bedside table. There were no wardrobes, closets, or even a chest of drawers, leaving us with nowhere to store personal belongings — we were forced to use the windowsill as a surface. The beds themselves were in very poor condition. The mattresses were so old and worn that you could physically feel and hear the springs everything you moved or lying down, making them uncomfortable and unsuitable for proper rest. During our five-day stay, no bin bags were provided at all. There was also no washing-up liquid or dishwasher tablets supplied. The non-stick pots and pans were heavily scratched and scraped to the point that they appeared unsafe to use for cooking. Additionally, there were absolutely no curtains in the bedrooms, offering no privacy or light control. I contacted the managing company immediately upon check-in and was asked to email photographs, which I did promptly. Despite this, no action was taken to resolve any of the issues — not even an attempt to send the cleaning team to restock basic supplies. The only response received was an email thanking me for raising the concerns. This experience reflects poor management and a lack of basic standards expected of a rental property in the UK.

Needs some repairs…broken kitchen door, wall damages, missing curtain rails and curtains and only on clothes rail in one room so nowhere to hang clothes. Mattresses very thin

The staff is extremely rude and the property is in a poor condition. My father got locked in the bathroom due to a faulty door mechanism and was stuck inside for 3 hrs! The staff was not supportive, unavailable and later just rude. I had to contact a locksmith and fix it and pay £180 for it and it was not compensated to me If you want a poor check in experience, faulty house furniture, and rude staff behaviour- this property will give you all of it.

Location good for our stay

Potential to be a good property but so many repairs and issues need dealing with. Sent pictures as requested but haven’t even had a reply! Not clean, broken toilet seat, leaking doors, radiators not attached to the wall securely, many damages which you could never class as a luxurious property. Bed not comfortable and poor sheets and towels. A lot of work to do to bring it ‘up to scratch’ .

How spacious it was. The location was lovely and the building was great. We only stayed one night so it was fine for a base. I wouldn't want to stay there for any longer. It could be an even better place than it is. It was lovely.

This is more constructive criticism that could be sorted out quote easily. It was a bit worn down. Above the balcony door in the lounge the plaster was coming away and the plaster bead was visible over most of the door. The ensuite in the double room, the toilet seat was broken and the door handle wasn't working properly (doesn't work at all) there were a lot of cracks in the break between the ceiling and walls. The double bedroom with ensuite the windowsills aren't fixed properly so they move and lift. There was a big stain on the sofa and one of the pillows were very ripped.
