The Loft on Colenso

Great location- easy to walk into town. Nice private space. Clean and well equipped

No air conditioning so extremely hot at night which made it uncomfortable for sleeping. WiFi very slow 🐌 . TV signal quite glitchy.

Handy and clean All I was looking for was a bed and this property provided that

Toilet bathroom and water source on a different level from the bedroom Stairs would be a problem for people with mobility issues

The place didn’t look like as it advertised on booking.com Very confined, entry through a garage, the treads on the staircase steps were too narrow, no access to do dishes , refilling Coffee Jug from the toilet hand basin as well as washing our cups and plates. Fridge is too small . The loft is only suitable for overnight stays as far as our experience. We booked for few days but have to leave a day early due to not feeling comfortable, also the wifi’s didn’t work the entire time we stay. Do not recommend for longer stays when travelling to Napier . Not suitable for older couples and couples with young children. We were very disappointed ☹️

We loved how cozy and warm the place was. Very clean and walking distance to town with great views from up the hill

Nice accommodation in a good location with a bit of a sea view. Comfy bed, and some nice little touches.

Hadn’t realised the bathroom was downstairs which is my own fault but was a lot of stepping for my Mum to use the bathroom in the night. Would be happy coming back with my husband next time though, would suit us nicely!

The added extras - fridge , microwave , jug , cold water , tea bags and coffee bags , drinking chocolate , kitchen utensils . Fan .

Perhaps a bit warm in the loft .
