Location, modernity, cleanliness

Difficulty in contacting staff - initial email indicated that a detailed message would be sent the day before booking specifying check in processes etc. This did not eventuate, and as a remote checkin venue caused significant confusion/angst on the day, effectively losing me a day of travel while trying to get clarity.
