Ash Retreat Hot Tub

Caravan was ideally located only a short walk from reception area, and close to tennis court so children could go and play football when they wanted to, and secure decking to keep our dog safe. Keys in a keysafe so easy to access property when we arrived. One single bed bigger than other which worked out well for our tall teenager, and comfortable double, plus two bathrooms so no queues for toilet.

Hot tub stunk like eggs, horrible sulphury smell, and full of floating debris, saying filter cleaning was overdue by two days on our first day, so by 3rd day we couldn’t even go in due to the smell. Kept getting swarmed with flies too, probably attracted to the smell. We booked this property so we could relax in the hot tub but couldn’t sit in for more than a few minutes, then had to go and have a hot shower as you get out covered in black bits and stinking. No hairdryer in caravan either, so remember to bring your own. Nowhere open on site to get anything to eat, Bari Bar or 19th Hole weren’t serving food at all the week we were there, so we had to get a supermarket delivery, obviously this isn’t the properties fault, but we would have been more prepared had we known.

Very clean property with lots of space, property also had everything in that you needed for your holiday.

Only downfall of this beautiful property was the flies around the hot tub.

hot tub area could have done with some matting , and cobwebs around windows and doors and decking area didn’t give a good impression

Location was fantastic & hot tub brilliant.

Dishwasher was not working & absolutely stank. Shame the washing machine was also not working. More annoying is the owner knows because they put a sticker on the appliances ages ago.

Lovely place in a quiet area. Great facilities provided and all clean and tidy.
