Ba Be Jungle Houses

Beautiful place in an amazing location. Food was delicious and staff were very helpful and accommodating. Lovely outdoor lounge spaces and loved the infinity pool. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway you can make as active as you want with Mr Linh’s adventure tours!

They gave me the worst and most unconfortable room of the guesthouse. No individual bathroom. The guests that came in group enjoyed a better treatment. The food they offered was cold. I did not enjoyed this first night out of Hanoi.

Ba Be Lake is a beautiful area and well worth a visit ! Jungle House was amazing, the rooms very clean and tidy. This guesthouse is fabulous, from the swimming pool, BBQ area, open fire pit for cooking, and great lounge/dining areas. In the morning we took a boat trip where we got to explore a local village and met the kids at the primary school, this was very special and really takes you into rural Vietnam.

Small hotel/ homestay on the lake. Magical peaceful setting. Taken across the lake by boat to it from our minibus drop off which was very special. Lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for us, always trying to help and spot what we wanted. Food was wonderful and so generous. They easily accommodated my vegetarian diet. Room was basic but nice; comfortable bed and pillows, cleaned and new bedding after 2 days. Walls very thin to the next room . We did 2 organised trips: full day guided boat trip around the lake with short hike through a local village and fields, cave , waterfall, lunch, island temple and island lake. Highly recommend this, it was wonderful. Then guided trip to Tham Phay caves which was utterly incredible. Really worth it. The guides we had were all local, booked by the homestay and fantastic. We also used the free bicycles to go to Hua Ma caves: 240m of steps up to it but amazing and we had it all to ourselves. We enjoyed our stay here a lot. Much more rural and off the beaten track than some of the more obvious tourist places. Highly recommend.

The place to stay in this area. Really, we tried some other and go for this one. Enlightened approach and great service. And food!

Amazing, tranquil location. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Food was excellent! Communal environment where it’s easy to chat with other travelers. I recommend using their kayaks to enjoy some time on the lake. The two sweet dogs there were an added bonus!
