Ba Be Jungle Houses

I’d highly recommend this accommodation, the area was outstanding and the staff wonderful. On arrival we were blown away with the views and it was so nice to see that they had a camp fire ready for us and dinner cooking.

I appreciated the hotel’s high standard, with a spacious and clean room, a very comfortable bed, and a great atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh and delicious options. The staff were professional and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.

An oasis in the jungle. We loved the staff, so kind and helpful. The food for both dinner and breakfast was amazing and our room was really comfortable. The best part was the outdoor covered seating area. It felt like our living room. The pool was so great too.

We loved to be in the nature in a very quiet and elegant space. We loved the dinner with the fire and the barbecue. The pool is amazing in front of the lake. The staff very polite, at your disposal and very nice.

We suggest to add some windows on the rooms with glass that can prevent little animals come inside the room

Better to change little bit , Honey can keep as optional. But dinner is excellent.

one boat trip included village visit , not much satisfying , Its nothing special for us and walk more in that area, shorten is better. rest of the trip is great.

Villa was really lovely

View wasn't like we expected for the price we paid. The bridge was broken so we couldn't drive in. They organised a boat. Would have been good to know this in advance. Not their fault at all but they could have mentioned it in the selling tours message I received. Very expensive for what we got, but it was a great place. Breakfast was disappointing.

Excellent location for exploring Ba Be Lake and the mountains around. Mr Linh's Adventures can arrange trekkings and boarding and kayaking trips. The staff is super friendly and speaks English very well. It's a local organisation that employs local people, so the guide taking you up to the mountains is actually from there. Definitely book the dinner, because it's plenty and delicious. And the swimming pool overlooking the lake is heaven after a day of hiking.

On arrival our room was upgraded; our room seemed brand new with great eco/local - and dare i say it almost industrial touches - style with a great terrace from which you could look over the lake and hear kids splashing after school. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool was also very nice as was the endless tea in the beautiful lounge pavilion. We needed to get back to Hanoi on the day Yagi hit to get our flights next day, and the manager arranged an excellent experienced driver who got us there safe and sound. We really appreciated this and hope he and all at Ba Be were safe over following days.

Potential guests should be aware this is quite an isolated homestay (both an asset & liability): not in the town, the access road horrified our Hanoi driver, and the only dining option are the in-house set meals at US$10 per person.
