Comfortable rooms upstairs at number 8

Ali was super kind and very helpful at check-in. The space was perfect for just a quick and cheap weekend stay. This spot is also only a 5min drive from the train station.

Not extremely walkable, the walk to the station was about 40 minutes. However, there are small shops nearby, within 10-15min walk. I enjoyed everything else about this stay, though!

The location was perfect

Even tho we knew there was an issue with the toilet, nothing prepared us for the stare of the toilet. It was full of waste which srank and made it impossible for us to use the bathroom. We weren't made aware where the toilet downstairs was and we were too worried to open door due to dog growling and barking. Bathroom dirty and room generally. You get what you say for I suppose.

Alison the host, very helpful and accommodating. Lovely village,nice, friendly people,who I found also eager to help. Room simple, basic, clean, comfortable, tremendous value for money!!

I was travelling via public transport and found the bus service poor, but I managed.

Alison welcomed me with a very warm and friendly reception. She was both great company and made me feel very comfortable. Additionally, the refreshments were excellent.

It was OK.
