The Farm at Avebury

Great location just where we needed. The Waggon and Horses pub.

The stairs in our unit (a ladder!) and a very poor welcome. We arrived (tired after a long wet cycle) and didn’t know where to go or what to do. Met a lady who just waved vaguely at where we were staying but there were 2 units open and we didn’t know which was ours so we hung around a bit thinking she’d come back but eventually had to go find her. This may be partly down to me not knowing Booking.com has messaging but most hosts email or text instructions so that’s no excuse for the dismissive welcome we got.

Location - the courtyard garden very lovely. Close to Avebury.

A bit cramped inside. TV not working. A light bulb blown . No dryer but washing machine so could wash but not dry quickly. Hot tub not very hot.

The location, the finishings, the feeling, interior. It was a really nice stay, area is super nice and it was a real nice place to come home to.

The welcome was perfect, some lovely welcome products and on site farm products available. Grounds around the property were immaculate and hot tub very welcomed. Everything was provided making the stay easy. Good walking direct from the property including a local pub.

Accommodation is compact with very steep ladder to Mezzanine room. Not really a criticism as it worked for the stable conversion but something some may need to bear in mind.

Delicious bread butter and apple juice. Lovely hot tub. David enjoyed feeding lambs and Willow loved sleeping on the sheepskin rug. Friendly staff.

Didn't realise the stairs would be so steep.

Beautiful, attention to detail excellent, lovely gift of farm made produce, lovely and warm

No problem for me but some clients may struggle with ladder

Dot was amazingly helpful and very responsive. It was so peaceful and an energetic match for me. I loved being there.
