Cabin in the Forest

The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Clean, comfortable plus the provisions provided were a welcoming bonus.

Very nice location. Bread was excellent, home made and eggs and butter and milk. Friendly place and hosts. Everything there for what you needed.

Although a little smaller than anticipated the cabin was great and we had a lovely break staying there. Lucky with the weather , we where able to eat outside on the little patio table every day and every thing was there to make dining easy. The hosts had left us a few bottles of there excellent beer, fresh eggs and home made bread which we really enjoyed. The location was great, nice and quiet, with there own micro pub bar for an afternoon drink and a farm shop a 2 minute walk away. What could be better !

The TV was a little difficult to watch while laying on the bed. A micro wave would have been nice but there is limited space and a wall clock needed. Apart from that all good.

This is a dream come true for someone who wants to escape from a busy city life for a few days. It is a beautiful and very cosy cabin on the edge of the forest and that is easily accessible without car (I arrived by train and had a small bike with me) in one of the loveliest parts of the country. There is an excellent farm shop within 10 mins walk and a nearby pub serving food. Needless to say - forest and heathland walks around. The hosts have very kindly left a loaf of homemade bread, very delicious, and eggs from their own chickens. There were also a few bottles of their own beer albeit I did not try it (don't drink beer). Also important, the bed is big and very comfortable and the bedding is of high quality. I have had probably the most chilled out holiday in my life and will certainly be returning.

The hosts kindly left fresh eggs, fresh coffee, butter and freshly baked bread for breakfast. There was also beers and ice cream in the fridge.
