"Host Cancelled Our Trip & Ruined our Anniversary"

I am unable to respond as my husband and I did not get the chance to stay. We were on our way from Kingston when my husband checked in with the property only to be advised by the host that there was an emergency and they had to cancel us after only receiving one phone call at 6:55 a.m. which I missed because at this time I am rushing to leave home to do school drop off. The worst part, it was my wedding anniversary and we wanted to relax in Ochio Rios.

The lack of communication on the part of the host- you call once and you decided not to call back. She could have sent me a whatsapp, a text or even an email- unacceptable! I honestly believe that because we booked at last minute she cancelled us. We are working class couple and we have to coordinate properly to ensure we have an uninterrupted trip. Additionally, up to 7p.m. no effort on the part of the host to contact again to check it. It has been avery distasteful experience, perhaps because we are locals we are not deemed important.

We love everything about this apartment 💯💯💯💥💥it is so clean and and comfortable The Caretaker Ms Pam she is caring and loving.

"Beautiful Holiday Home💗"

We loved everything. I chose to celebrate my 50th birthday here as we stayed here before and knew it's a beautiful holiday home with beautiful views of the carribean Sea and Ocho Rios. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and sunset on the balcony, especially on my birthday. Our hosts provided a lovely bottle of wine, along with balloons, which was a wonderful surprise, I enjoyed it very much with dinner. Beds are so comfortable we could have stayed in bed all day! But there is so much to do in the local area, plus it's a short walking distance to the beach, Island Village etc. I had a truly wonderful 50th birthday with my family. Thank you very much again, Miss Angie and Miss Pam, for making our stay and my birthday extra special 💗

"A decent place to stay spoilt by lack of transparency about cost and payment"

Nice property.

The hidden cleaning fee not included in the published price. The booking advert not including that the payment needed to be made in cash and being contacted outside of Booking.com to manage this. This felt insecure and open to being scammed. I wouldn’t book this apartment again for this reason and wouldn’t use Booking.com again. I felt dismayed to be told by the host that the letting for one night shouldn’t have been allowed. It made me feel blamed.
