The owner was really friendly. We had a lot of fun with the conversation with Google. She allowed us to cook water in her kitchen, gave us a guave fruit and was really sweet.

The mattress was really hard and still covered in plastic. There were cockroaches in the room, but the room itself was clean - so not a problem from the owner.

The location and especially the hosts. They were SO friendly! Really helped us with everything and made us feel like home!!

Clean, spacious, owner helped us booked tour and return bus tickets with good services. She even upgraded one of our rooms. The food owner cooked are delicious. We extended one night with short notice because one of us got sick. Everything was great. Highly recommended.

The matron of the household went out of her way to cook us a late breakfast and check in on what we wanted to eat. The place was conveniently located. AC worked really well. They gave us an upgraded room without an extra charge.

The bed was quite hard and the blanket was too small and light for 2 people. The towels were small and not absorbent. They only provided one small water for both of us. Wifi worked poorly in our room, especially at night. Makes me wonder if they shut the router off.

Very nice location, clean, very lovely staff. The family who operates the hostel is so nice and helpful and lovely. They helped me to find my lost bag on the othwr side of Island. Extremely nice people. They have good breakfast as well and the price is reasonable for rge rooms.

We had a fantastic stay at Pi’s. The hosts are very nice and accomodating and they also help with bus tickets or trips. The rooms are very clean and the location is perfect: in the heart of Cat Ba but aside from noise. The bed is pretty hard but can be managed for a couple of nights.

Perfect stay. Host was a wonderful lady who attended to and exceeded meeting our needs completely. The location is perfect, in the centre but down a quieter lane. Harbour is 5 min walk away. Able to book tours and scooter through home stay - very helpful. Room was spacious and for the price this was an excellent find. Couldn’t recommend more.
