Pi's Homestay CatBa

We had the most fantastic time staying here. The facilities are good, the location is so central to Cat Ba town, and the included breakfast is delicious. The owners are the loveliest people we have met so far on our travels. They helped arrange trips, gave us advice on where to find things in town and what prices to haggle things down to(which was very appreciated). Would recommend to all ! :D

Nothing, it was a genuinely exceptional stay.

Everything was perfect. Location is ideal, in the center of the city but in a quiet street. Rooms are large, clean and have everything you need. Breakfast is really good and you can choose between 5 options, all made to order. But the highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the host who is so nice and helpful. Would 100% definitely go back to Pi’s Homestay should we visit Cat Ba again.

The beds are extremely hard,

We had a lovely time in pi's homestay. The owners are very kind and helpful, we've got an upgrade on our room. Also they helped us to book tours and bus tickets (cheaper than in the city). Breakfast in the morning is great, laundry is done well. It's not very luxurious but the price and the service is amazing. Would definitely recommend!

The hosts are so nice !! The woman was really kind and helpful in many ways. She prepared a fresh sea food hot pot for us for a fair price. We also had the chance to have a room upgrade for the same price. The location is perfect also, no noise during the night and morning.

We think the pancakes could have been less greasy. The bed was also hard.

Best homestay we stayed in! Duyen and her men are so wholesome! She helped us a lot and is such a pure hearted woman! Breakfast was delicious, the room was really comfortable and big :)

Everything absolutely OK, very kind and nice hotel staff, smiling and polite, always happy to help. laundry on request for reasonable money (this is common service in Vietnam). Breakfasts at the agreed time.

The old couple running the homestay were very welcoming. They take really good care of you, and this is the reason why you should come here. They will ask you everyday what you want for breakfast.

They advertise a balcony with a sea view. There is no balcony, it's just a hallway with a view of the inner courtyard and adjacent buildings. A bit disappointing when you expect a nice sea view. Don't expect to be able to sleep in. It can get really loud early in the morning, as early as 6am.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great location in a side alley, which is quiet despite being in a central location. Everything was clean and tidy. Great price.
