Casa Azul alla Cala by Wonderful Italy

The host was very responsive, the location is great, walking distance to everything but not in the middle of the touristic quatro canti, close to a very cute area of restaurants, the layout of the apartment is very convenient, couch is comfortable, bed and pillows are comfortable, good heating. I loved that we can open windows to look outside. Very quiet most times, there was some noise on Saturday night from a bar that opened just below, but nothing on the rest of the days.

Would have been nice to have some basic foods like oil, salt and a kitchen towel (but it's still a 10 for me.)

I wouldn't suggest staying at this property because - the location is NOT convenient to the central area (20min minimum walk) - bathroom SMELLS like sewage and it comes out to the master bedroom - you need to take out your own trash according to the calendar - YOU WILL BE LOCKED IN THE BUILDING You need to have a key to get out but you need to leave the key in the room on check out day... The property must fix those problems.

The communication with the owner - we have asked several times to resolve the issue with the boiler as it wasn’t enough hot water for the three of us and at least one of us had to take the cold shower but the responses to our requests were either very slow or we just didn’t get anything back….

This spot was very centrally located. Lots of places to eat right at your doorstep. Its a short walk from the main road that leads you to all the main sights. You are close to a super market, breakfast spot (Ecologica Bio Shop & Bistro), wonderful food (Deca Bistrot was our favorite), and Cafes. It has AC which was awesome to use when it was hotter or when we got back from walking near Quattro Canti. There is also a small kitchen and fridge setup, so we were able to cook basic breakfasts. The team was also very responsive via WhatsApp, they offered to book us a taxi pickup from the airport, and one to the airport, and took care of all the arrangements.

You do have to take out your own trash, I'm not sure if that was just due to the length of our stay (9 nights), or a regular occurrence. It was a little tricky to locate the dumpsters and trash needs to be separated, but it's not very clear what goes in what trash can. Some backup linens and towels would also be nice. I was able to wash the towels and bathmats we had in the washing machine, but it does take a minute as the washing machine is small.
