Amazing Location, just across the road to the harbour and attached beach, close to hikes, nice restaurants nearby

Telma and her husband are very hospitable people and have lots of good recommendations for the town. it’s a great starting point for various hikes (given u have a car) and the local people are very welcoming. the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped.

Telma and her husband, who own the house, were very friendly and helpful, including picking us up from the airport. The house was very comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The verandah overlooked a square with trees, a church and a small playground, also with views down to the harbour. Nearby there were fish restaurants, bakeries/cafés, mini supermarkets etc. Walking above the town there is an area of distinctive red rocks with views of the cliffs and sea, and a walk along the Levada de Caniçal. Along the seafront opportunities to swim. SAM bus 113 (Funchal-Caniçal-Baia d’Abra) goes to Ponta de Sao Lourenço.

Host Telma was very friendly and helpful, the place is beautiful in a nice location, and private parking is available, it was very clean, just perfect!

price vs quality is definitely not as expected no dish washer, no space outside, very basic equipment in kitchen and bathroom, noisy.

Parking in the yard of the villa. Very friendly hosts who responded quickly to all our requests. The accommodation is clean and cozy. Convenient location - nearby a delicious local restaurant, fish shop (peixaria), bakery and local fruits and vegetables (delicious). Comfortable beds.

The accommodation is located on the first floor of the villa with a separate entrance from the side via a spiral staircase - 100% unsuitable for people with disabilities. Pay attention to the corners of the hood - they are sharp and if you are a little taller than the average height - you can hit your head.
