Spotless and nicely decorated.

Not a very comfortable space for 4 people. The living area is too small, the only sofa sits 3 comfortably, and the breakfast bar only sits 3 comfortably. There isn’t a table to eat from. No toaster either. There were only 2 pillows per bed, and the pillows downstairs were cheap and flimsy. We couldn’t figure out how to use the electric kettle properly, needlessly complicated. Not enough towel rails in the bathroom. There was no private outdoor space as described.

The property was marketed as a two-bedroom villa, but the reality differed significantly from the listing description. Instead of two proper bedrooms, it featured only one enclosed bedroom and an open mezzanine level with a bed, which lacked privacy and functionality. Additionally, the unit did not qualify as a house or villa; it was a compact, poorly designed space with insufficient living area and no dedicated living room. The listing misrepresented both the layout and the property type entirely.

Lovely environment and neighbourhood, short drive to city centre, Mt Maunganui. Beautiful backyard plus two cute dogs.

Clean, modern, well equipped, affordable and central. I also loved the Greggs mochas provided, they’re my absolute fav so that was a lovely touch.
