Lovely comfortable bed and luxurious furnishings. Perfect for an overnight stay whilst attending a local event.

Needed a little more attention to detail - shower sprayed water in the wrong directions and cobwebs on high!

The food and the atmosphere in the pub was lovely and very lively!

The room had no window to open in the bedroom area Had to open the front door to air the room. Shower made a racket when you turned it on. No hand soap in the bathroom. No breakfast is served! Had to go to Sainsburys to purchase pots of instant porridge. When I made the reservation on Booking.com it stated breakfast was included. The room was nice though in a little courtyard.

The room was clean,comfortable and welcoming.The location was lovely set in peaceful surroundings. The staff were all really friendly and so helpful.The food was delicious and plentiful served by really polite and friendly staff. The owner, Jo was amazing as she kindly lent us camping chairs as we were attending Radio 2 weekend party in the park and had accidentally left our chairs at home.. such a kind gesture. Would definitely recommend a stay here. We celebrated my husbands birthday and our Anniversary and it couldn’t have been any better.

Really can’t fault the property. Just a lovely room with a spacious bathroom and pretty setting.

A place that looked understated. Well kept rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food and prepared very fast and hot. Small place but with lots of history. Loved it!

Don’t know if it was meant to be part of the historical facts and decor, but the cobwebs in the courtyard where the rooms are, were unsightly. My apologies if they were meant to be part of the ambience being in the suburb!

Great to go to a pub with accommodation where nothing is to much to ask for. We asked for towels they arrived. We booked a table for dinner that was reserved. The food and drinks were excellent and all the staff appeared happy and helpful. Clientele in the pub were it seemed mostly local and cheerful with plenty of banter and laughs flying about. Our room (The Red Door) was spacious and clean and all we could of asked for. Sleep was good comfy large bed and no street noise. For Breakfast we had the Full English which was superb and very filling , with the sausages our highlights And it being local produce. We departed in a very Happy frame of mind and look forward to returning in the near future. Big Thanks to Management and Staff👍👍

Lovely village pub staff were really friendly and we got access to our room on day at 11 as we had a wedding to go to. Room was very nice clean and had everything we needed. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast including toast.

Unfortunately the room was very close to the road and with the window open it was pretty loud.

visited for a work retreat - nice pub with inn I think there are four rooms on the property and all with ensuite bathrooms
