Good location

It was disappointing that there was no breakfast chef, however we were refunded for the lack of breakfast service.

Unfortunately there was no genius breakfast as expected. In fact no breakfast was available pay or not. Otherwise the stay was good, good experience in the evening but.very poor in the morning

The location suited my purpose.

Being told on arrival there would be no breakfast available. The room really should have been much cheaper. Almost spartan and,despite of the very hot weather no fan in the room. When I left there was nobody to leave the key with.

The location was good for the nearby RHS gardens. The staff we met were friendly. Breakfast was good as long as you wanted Full English

The room was small and very hot. The window in the bedroom can't be opened which didn't help. The window in the bathroom did open but the heated towel rail was dangerously hot and permanently on, so no cooling air from there. We didn't look at the menus before we left so missed that they stop serving food at 6.00pm. Bank Holiday Monday!

Food - Unfussy short menu varying from day to day. use local produce. This is not a restaurant style pub which is a good thing IMO, but they serve very good food. Drinks - Pub serves a good selection of real ales, local wines etc alongside usual drinks. Location - is rural and within easy driving distance from coast and local attractions. Rooms - are great, everything you need and nothing you don't need. Very good quality furniture, fittings,linens etc. Parking - Pub has ample parking and a lovely garden.

Std and content of full english breakfast lacked consistency as there was no set menu so it varied depending on staff on duty.
