Old, quaint and lovely location

Bed a bit hard for me, buts that’s just my preference for a softer mattress

Everything was lovely - staff, location, food, drink, accomodation.

Brillliant breakfast!

No heating. I did ask the staff on the first night and they said it would come on as it was on a timer. The first night I slept in my clothes as it was too cold to change into pyjamas. The second night I asked again and was told it would come on a timer- It didn't. The television was tiny and too tinny to turn on. I wasn't given a receipt for my meal even though I asked for it. It was for £16.95 for POW Burger which was very nice!

Breakfast cooked by George was a highlight tasty sourced locally and plentiful

Only staying two nights.

Compact but comfy room. Great food and beer in the pub.

Fantastic, spacious, room with a huge and comfortable bed. Big bathroom with both a bath and a separate, wet room type shower which worked well. Plenty of parking and a nice, old, pub atmosphere in the bar.

The room was quite dark with only a single, small, window opening onto a courtyard. You need the lights on all day if you want to read. My main criticism is of the breakfast. The first morning I was there, there was no cereal or fruit juice on offer, just a cooked breakfast and coffee or tea. I needed an early start on my second day but they would not budge on a start time of 8:30, not even when I asked if they could just leave some cereal out for me, so I ended up having to go out and buy breakfast on top of my accommodation costs which had included breakfast!

Unfortunately, the night we stayed, we were kept up all Friday night with a couple that were drunk and was shouting and fighting from 1am till 2.30am so got very little sleep.
