A really nice room, that was clean and modern. The breakfast was excellent.

This is a brilliant location for the nearby RHS Garden at Hyde Hall, the rooms are excellent, clean, comfortably and well appointed. The pub itself has a wonderful, warm atmosphere, its old world charm with burning fires in the hearths is full of character, with well kept traditional ales on tap. The night we stayed it was a curry night, the food was good and quickly served by excellent staff. We will stay again next time we are in the area.

Breakfast was very good as were the food was first rate. As were all the staff and management. The pub beer was excellent and served with a smile

I couldn’t fault it. I’m actually reluctant to give a good review because I don’t want anyone else to know. 🤣 I want to be able to go again and it not be fully booked.

Nice rooms

The pub is in transition so a little dissorganised.

New owners and things are a bit chaotic. Food in the evening was very good although a limited choice. Breakfast was sausage or bacon roll, no breakfast chef yet. Overall ok but needs more staff and general update to the room. Clean and warm however and the staff we met were pleasant and helpful.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

A little run down but remember it’s a small local pub so don’t expect too much.

Great stay, room great, staff friendly, food terrific would highly recommend
