Deepmoor Farmhouse, Doveridge, Derbys.

Beautiful large farm house quiet location but not far to local attractions like Alton Towers, Marie and Larry and wonderful hosts lots of very thoughtful touches around the property outside and inside toys offered tractor rides, amazing welcome pack milk orange juice bread eggs and butter, the property is beautiful with a large kitchen with oil fired Aga 5 beautiful appointed bedroom very comfy beds we are a family of 9 and was just perfect for us we would love to return in the future.

The location was perfect. The farmhouse was exceptional and done to a high standard. Cleanliness was outstanding. Marie and Larry were lovely hosts and on hand at all times. On arrival we had milk, Bread and lovely farm eggs. We felt spoilt . Will be visiting this beautiful farmhouse again.

This farm house had everything you could possibly need , such a peaceful village and gorgeous views.The hosts were amazing so friendly and the tractor rides just topped off the perfect weekend.The owners even left us some apples to feed the donkeys.

It was perfect for our family stay meeting up from different parts of the country, cant fault any of it .

It was very easy to collect the keys from the lock box. Marie and Larry live close by and were very helpful at answering any queries. Communication was very easy. We found a selection of local produce waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived which was a very nice touch. The house was spotlessly clean and provided a great base to explore the surrounding areas. This property is dog friendly and our dog really enjoyed herself too!

There is no garden but you can sit outside in the farmyard area. The lack of garden was not a problem for us.

Really easy, prompt communication prior to arrival. Lock box to collect keys made for a very easy check in process. A lovely selection of local produce as a welcome basket, plenty to go around. Overall it was really lovely home from home, with everything you’d expect to have available. Nice big kitchen table for games and meals, and adequate comfy seating around the fire. Lots of thought has clearly been given to all bedrooms, adjoining room for children’s beds was an unexpected bonus. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and extended more hospitality than you’d expect. We all had a great stay, with talk of when to return not if ☺️ thank you!!

One or two of the beds were a little creaky, and the upstairs toilet seat wobbly, but very minor details! I expect they’ve been fixed already!

A lovely comfortable house, large enough for a big group of adults and children. Great location for exploring the surrounding area which is really lovely. The house is spotless and the special touches like the welcome pack - milk, eggs and bread were really nice and thoughtful. Marie is very responsive and helpful with recommendations for places to visit and to eat.

Property was very warm and welcoming. Typical farmhouse kitchen and lovely character bedrooms. Sitting room had plenty of seating for the whole family as well as a log burner for those really cold nights. Owners are very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us welcome without being intrusive

We are an exceptionally tall family and the Joe beans were a bit of a problem when people forgot to watch it for them
