Wold's View Cottage

We stayed with family in this cottage and it really exceeded our expectations. The space is generous and worked brilliantly for a family gathering. The wood-burning hot tub was great fun — just note that in the autumn you’ll want to allow a few hours for it to heat up (the welcome pack gives good guidance) and once hot it held temperature very well. The cottage’s amenities were excellent: tea, coffee, milk and dishwasher tablets etc were all provided — a welcome touch. The location felt very peaceful but with some local pubs within driving distance (we had three cars, so that worked well for us). Even in late October/early November the cottage was a sun trap—we were lucky with the weather! We’ve already recommended it to friends and would love to come back. Highly recommended.

The road to the Cottage is quite narrow so be mindful and drive carefully, especially in the dark. Definitely read the the hosts instructions on how to find the cottage, these were very helpful and we arrived without any issues. Although this wasn't a problem, I think its good to know in advance.

It was spacious and had everything we needed.

A beautiful location and a stunning property.

We were a party of 8 and the cooking equipment did not really cater for that. The pans were tiny.

Everything!! This cottage/barn is amazing. Just as beautiful as the photos and exceeded all of our expectations. We genuinely didn't want to leave.
