Wold's View Cottage

The property was beautiful and clean, it had everything you would want, very spacious with amazing views.

The hot tub is wood fired, it would have been nice to have this heated up prior to our arrival as it took almost 24hours to heat up, we wasn’t able to use it on our first night.

Very spacious and comfortable with great rooms and a lovely big lounge area with plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. The honesty shop is great for things like logs and borrowing games. We had a Tesco order delivered so didn’t require any food but there were a lot of basic available at good prices if you were caught short. Location is beautiful and very peaceful. Having all en-suite rooms is great with a family as everyone has their own space as well as the communal area.

The hot tub takes hours to heat - would be great if it was lit on the day of arrival during cold weather so that when you arrive the water is warmed and you have a chance of using it in the first day or 2. The pillows could do with an upgrade although the beds are super comfy. A slight rearrange of the kitchen cupboards to provide a space for storing dry food would be helpful, but there is plenty fridge and freezer space .

It was very spacious, well proportioned and we found it very comfortable and relaxing. It’s nicely appointed and there is loads of seating on the spacious sofas . Each room is en-suite and the beds are massive and very comfortable

Nothing …. But the flies are a bit of a nuisance so keep the doors and windows closed

Everything highspec furniture spacious really comfy beds. Dish friendly tranquil space for children to play safely hot tub dark skies meteor shower. Wildlife and also the gardens surrounding the cottages were pristine with beautiful plants and shrubs lawns were like cricket pitches

The space was great and the style was stunning. The gardens were amazing and loved the honesty shop and games you could borrow. Everything you needed was there. It was obvious a lot of thought and care had gone into these properties and the staff were lovely

The hot tub required a lot of planning and difficult to regulate the temperature. I think it would have been better to have a sofa bed in the lounge instead of the bedroom although I appreciate the bathrooms were all in the bedrooms. The fly net on the back door was a pain but you did need something to stop the flies.
