Spacious 4-Bedroom House in Manchester

Good price and location. The house was cleaned well for our arrival. Smart tv with netflix,prime youtube etc which was a nice bonus

The beds were pretty bad and uncomfortable but served a purpose for one night. The sofa could do with a clean up - a few stains.

It was very spacious and in a great location. Very clean and tidy and had all the amenities we needed.

Stayed for concert night, property was a 15 min walk from Manchester Academy, the house was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable the sheets smelled very clean and fresh (to address a previous review, there were no bedbugs in sight and no ripped sheets!!) The kitchen was well equipped with tea, coffee and milk left for us to use when we arrived, there was plenty of towels and toiletries were left in the shower to use, had we needed them. Parking was fine and we parked right outside since no resident permits were needed on a weekend.

There were few a few things that could do with repairing like the wardrobe door which was very loose and although a lot of people in previous reviews said there was no hot water, there was plenty however it took a while to come through, in fact the upstairs shower was very hot and we had trouble getting it to cool down!!! The shower handle didn’t seem to turn far enough so may need looking at, however there was a second shower downstairs, so it wasn’t a problem, also the toilet downstairs didn’t seem to be attached down so moved slightly when used. The curtains could maybe do with being a little thicker for this time of year since it was very light very early! Despite all of the above we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again!

After arriving at the property we promptly decided to book elsewhere Below are the reasons why: The double mattresses upstairs were very old, looked well used and lumpy and were stained and inhabited with bed bugs. Sheets were torn, bedding not fresh and smelled. Pillows very thin, old and well used. Upstairs smoke detector hanging off roof and downstairs covered by red plastic bag. Light fittings not fitted correctly with bare wires on show. Terrace/ Patio out back covered with rubbish bags. Toilet pan dirty inside, no hot water in showers, wardrobe doors dangerously hanging off. Walls around place dirty. Bedroom door handles either not correctly fitted or missing. Candle was left lit by owner before we arrived to try and disguise awful smell in property which was obvious the minute we walked in. Floors upstairs extremely uneven. Overall filthy and dangerous and not fit for habitation unless you are a bed bug.
