Penthouse Seaside Apartment B - Faraway

We had such a great stay at Lev’s place! Apartment B is beautiful, with two balconies and lots of natural light. The apartment is spacious with multiple seating areas. There’s a large, separate closet area for your luggage and clothes. The upstairs bathroom is spacious with multiple shelves and hangers for your belongings. There is everything you need for laundry and even cooking basic meals. Espresso pods are available for purchase, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. Parking is on the street but we did not have any trouble finding a close spot during our stay in April. There’s many delicious restaurants and cafes within a 10 minute walk. You’re also right on the water, which was lovely waking up to the waves. We 100% recommend this place and would love to stay here again in the future!

The apartment is clean, nice and well equipped. The owner is very friendly and always ready to help. He shares with you a personalized web page with all necessary information, what is a great idea. Location is a perfect starting point for island exploration if you have a car. There are a plenty of comfortable parking places, which don't require supernatural driving skills, while it's not so obvious on this island. ;) But there are also a few restaurants in the walking distance.

Be aware that there is no washing machine in apartment B. We were lucky that Lev let us know when the apartment A was free, so we could wash our clothes there, but one can't take it for granted.

Es war alles sehr sauber, neu, die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Tolle Aussicht und ein riesiges Apartment.

Die Aussicht von den beiden Balkonen kann man leider nur im stehen genießen, dies liegt aber an gesetzlichen Vorgaben.

Everything about the place was great: location right by the beach and very close to the Lagoa pools; very clean, spacious, beautifully set up apartment (we stayed in penthouse B); the place has everything you need and the hosts are very welcoming. I highly recommend Faraway apartments! Will definitely stay here again.

Es un sitio paradisíaco. Te permite disfrutar de la isla y a la vez de la tranquilidad. Tiene unas vistas espectaculares al mar y unas piscinas de agua natural a escasos minutos. El alojamiento está muy bien cuidado. Los dueños fueron súper atentos con nosotros, ayudándonos y resolviendo nuestras dudas sobre la isla y posibles recomendaciones. Sin duda, disfrutamos de una estancia perfecta.

Great for family stay. The location and the view of the ocean are fantastic. You can open the door to the balcony and sleep all night hearing the sound of the ocean, but only sometimes because Lagoa is sometimes noisy at night due to some festivals. The festival noise is not a problem if you close the windows. There are two air conditioners which are very silent and easy to use. Within walking distance are a great fish restaurant, a lovely swimming pool (if you are new to the Azores, you should visit), Lagoa city center, a new beautiful green lagoon, and a walking path along the ocean. I suggest renting a car in the Azores. With the car, most places you'd like to visit several times are within 15 minutes from the location. We also enjoyed the view in the mornings and having breakfast. We also appreciated sunsets after busy days. The hosts are very great! They live nearby and react in case of any situation blazingly fast. We were with a small child, and we needed a washing machine. The hosts adapted fast and provided us with the schedule for their washing machine.

Minor issues with the door lock. Sometimes, it just wanted to avoid accepting our pin code. However, maybe it was just my bad luck and fingers. There's a place for improvement (wishes): e.g., a dishwasher, bar stools on the balcony, ergonomic pillows.

The view is great from the apartment B. It is a calm area and you can hear the sea. Amazing for family trip as well. Great hosts.
