I recently stayed at Hotel Masa al Najwa madinah, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the hotel did not meet basic hygiene standards. The lobby had a musty smell, and the carpets were stained, which set an unwelcoming tone for my stay. The cleanliness of the room was equally concerning; I found hair in the bathroom and dust accumulated on surfaces, which made me question the overall sanitization efforts of the establishment. Another significant drawback was the hotel's location and accessibility. The public transportation options were limited, making it difficult to explore the area or reach nearby attractions. This inconvenience added unnecessary stress to my trip, as I had to rely on expensive taxi services to get around. What truly made my experience unpleasant was the attitude of the staff. I encountered rudeness from several employees who seemed disinterested in providing assistance. When I raised concerns about the hygiene issues, their responses were dismissive, and they refused to offer any solutions or even a change of room. It felt like any attempt to negotiate was met with a cold shoulder, leaving me feeling unwelcome and frustrated. The bed were broken carpet was filthy and not safe as they were bumpy and everyone was tripping over and I fell really badly. The kitchen the fridge was leaking n the electric cooker (main reason we booked the accommodation) was not working and with bathroom the shower head was leaking which was changed on the last day ... Bedding was dirty ..location is close to haram but definitely not walking distance due to works being done ... My son n brother broke out in hives don't know y but I guess dirty blankets or bed bugs not sure ... No cleaning tools hover brush was left to self clean even ... But rubbish bins were cleaned when left in corridor.. reception staff was rude n unkind there were elderly guests n they wouldn't even bother to get off their game or phone to help which was sad and reflected poor customer service too.

The staff are nice and the location is close to the Haram. It is a bit loud.

It was an average hotel. Rooms are small for family.

Stay was horrible mainly because of hotel’s condition. Cockroaches were roaming around in the room and washroom. If you are a westerner please do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel. Never going to stay here again. I was staying in Madina for a few hours. Only needed a place to keep my luggage.

They have simply lied about the property. And the amenities . There is no room service. They talk about a common kitchen which doesn’t exist. I womder why expedia would even list this. They charged extra riyals for credit card charge.

I booked this hotel through Hotels, and the nightmare began as soon as I arrived. The room wasn’t even ready when I got there, so I had to stand and wait while they hastily “prepared” it. The moment we stepped inside, we were hit by an awful, unbearable smell. Within a minute, we noticed cockroaches—everywhere. They were crawling on the walls, the floor, and even on the bed! When I reported this to the staff, their solution was to start spraying insecticide. Big mistake. The more they sprayed, the more cockroaches appeared, scurrying out of every crack and crevice. It was beyond disgusting. There was no way I could sleep in that room—or anywhere in that hotel. I left that same night and checked into another hotel just to salvage what was left of my trip. When I asked for a refund, they flat-out refused. No apology, no compensation, just a shrug. If you value your health, your sleep, and your sanity, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Unless, of course, you enjoy sharing your room with an army of cockroaches.
