I really enjoyed my stay here. Nissanka was welcoming, helfpful and friendly. The room I stayed in was clean and cosy. My personal highlight was the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast I got there. Tiny QT village is a bit of walk away from Galle Fort, but it is very uncomplicated to reach everything you want to see during your stay in Galle, as there are buses, tuktuks or bikes to rent all around. Overall, I can highly recommend to stay there.

Clean, Homely, everything you needed, including soap, little kitchen, good Wi-Fi. Big local breakfast, and English breakfast also available.

Not much to complain about.

Genuinely Everything - the price, hospitality, cleanliness, facilities, location, quick and easy communication and the delicious breakfast. The host genuinely cared if we were happy with his room. We have been traveling for 4 months around Asia and this is easily the best accommodation we stayed in. First of all, the room itself is very clean, has Netflix, new and comfy bed with a good mosquito net to keep bugs out. Clean bathroom without a smell which was great as many of our previous accommodation had a bad smell in the bathroom. Also there is a washing machine and he let us use his washing line to dry clothes. Secondly, two of our backpacks ripped on our way to galle so we arrived quite flustered. The host noticed our trouble and brought us to a local businessman who fixed our issue straight away and honestly was a lifesaver as we were expecting to have to pay 100€ for new bags. He then showed me many local restaurants that were nice in the area and also sent me a message telling me all of the local attractions and available tours in the area. Couldn’t recommend this accommodation more!

The place might seem charming at first glance, but my experience was just okay overall. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. This wasn’t mentioned beforehand. Later, the host wrote that the mosquito issue was “new,” but then admitted he had already noticed it himself. He had taken countermeasures – like using Styrofoam, fine mesh, and a half-inserted wine bottle over the shower drain. The wine bottle was especially odd because it didn’t even cover half of the opening. Overall, the solutions seemed improvised rather than thought through. I killed over 20 mosquitoes within the first hours – and had encountered no such problem elsewhere on the island. The host still seemed to be searching for the source of the issue, which suggests it wasn’t so new after all. The surrounding area is authentic, not a tourist zone – lots of greenery, monkeys, but also loud traffic and families playing outside. Noise comes in easily through the thin roof or walls – it’s unclear where exactly – and there are no real windows. Most openings are sealed off with makeshift material like Styrofoam, likely for both AC and mosquito protection. This is common in this price range, but it blocks almost all natural light. The room feels completely cut off from the outside, except for the noise. For people who just want a place to sleep, this might be fine – especially if you like the sound of heavy rain on the roof, like I do. That part can actually be soothing. Wi-Fi wasn’t available, even though it was advertised. The password on the router didn’t work, and the host had no idea why. I do believe that Wi-Fi normally works, but in my case, it didn’t. If this happens to other guests too, I’d start to question whether the host is really unaware of the problem. The room itself is very basic – more like a hut, with a lightweight roof that the rain pounds on. The host mentioned the roof contains asbestos. The setup felt makeshift throughout.

An absolute gem. The place is like a little home away from home with everything you could need. Our hosts were very kind and accommodating and made our stay super easy. 20 minute walk to Galle fort and a nice quiet neighborhood. Would highly recommend!

Would be good to have a window to let some natural light in.

The ambience was very polite and beautiful,and I had a great time at the villa. Breakfast was very delicious I hope to visit again.

We had a fantastic stay at Tiny QT Villa - excellent locacation just outside Galle away from the hustle and bustle in a local neighbourhood. Our host and his family were so hospitable. We had a homemade Sri lankan breakfast, which was amazing and the villa was perfect - everything you would want in a gorgeous little villa - we would highly recommend anyone to stay there 10/10 !!!
