Great priced place to stay. The have great free yoga classes and afternoon tea with local treats. We can only fault two things... Firstly the bathroom drains in our room smelt terrible, like gag bad and the food at the onsite restaurant was pretty over priced for what you get... Then you have to pay an extra 21% goods and services (most other places are 10-16%). Plus there aren't many other food options within walking distance. But The breakfast included in the room price was fantastic.
Lovely hotel tucked into quiet, relaxing rice fields. Pools are amazing! My only complaints about this hotel are the cleaning supplies used to clean the bathrooms smell strongly of sulfur, and the smell seeps into clothes. Additionally, food at hotel restaurant is not the best, with many of the dishes not being available for some reason. My cousin and I tried to walk to dinner around 8 one night, but nothing around the area was open, and we had to return to the hotel for another mediocre meal. On the bright side, prices are fabulous!
I wasn't happy with the amount of time it took for me to do anything at the reception desk. There was a lot of people there and only a few knew what they were doing causing me to be "helped" multiple times by people who didn't know how to help me. There is a school, so the children are training in how to run the hotel... This required a lot of patience for me.
The grounds are beautiful but the standard rooms are unacceptable for the price ($55aud). The beds are rock hard and the rooms smell very badly of mould. I considered upgrading but they weren't very interested in showing me another room so I moved to another hotel after one night.
I was at the resort for ten days, my room had a balcony which overlooked the rice fields and I could see the sacred mountain every morning. I loved it. The owners are providing a valuable service for young people entering the workforce, they provide in-depth training for them which is commendable. As a result, the service a guest gets is superb. The only negative was the lack of WiFi in the rooms, I needed to communicate with booking agents and was thwarted throughout the stay.

Suly Resort and Spa was a little out of town but was beautiful to get away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud and enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the pool/rice fields or partaking in their yoga sessions! Our room was clean but the bathroom needed to be redone and had a really bad smell. All in all we got what we paid for and I would definitely stay here again! :)
The hotel environment is nice, but the room condition is bad, especially the bath room.
Was ok. Bed was terrible made us more tired as we couldn't sleep for 2 nights. Breakfast was really good, bathroom was too small, staff were really good and friendly. Common swimming pool were good for relaxation.
Had a fantastic time here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room did have a mould smell to it but for the price I cannot really complain. Great pool surrounded by rice fields.I Would definitely return.
