J-Apartment in Frogner Lillestrøm - Modern and Central

Nothing, we couldn't enter apartment because keybox placed outside under the snow was frozen and was not possible to open it to get keys. Host sent someone to help us but after near 1.5 hour they told us they can not to anything and we have to find some other place to stay.

The location of apartment is quite good, close to the supermarket, not far from Oslo with a car. The apartment itself would be nice if taking care of well enough. There was a comfortable bed, for the 2nd bed no sofa-bed, but air bed available instead. It was good enough.

The host is not familiar what is a proper customer service, including cleanliness, working equipment (stove top was not working), as well as communication itself (providing directions for parking was really challenging and etc.). If this could be improved, the apartament could get really higher rating.

Overall, this is a nice and modern apartment. It was convenient to get to from the highway and was very close to the KIWI grocery store. The location was quiet and nice. Getting the key from the lockbox worked well to get into the apartment. The owner was good about responding to messages we sent him about various items and was working to make things right for us.

Due to a mix-up the apartment was not clean when we arrived. My wife also pulled out a baking dish to use and it was not clean, as was true of some of the other items in the kitchen. We struggled trying to figure out how to use the stove for cooking - there were no directions in English.

Location is good, there is Netflix on the TV.

*All of the towels, beddings smell very bad, blanket is only enough for 1 person. *There is mold inside of the cabins (mainly in the bedroom and bathroom). *The neighbours are VERY loud and the windows point to the main "court". *The light is very bright and goes straight through the broken blinds, so the room is very bright even at night and disturbs sleep. *The bed is very uncomfortable and loud upon any move, waking people up if you're not alone. *The blinds don't go all the way down and are broken - so it's pretty much see-through from the outside. *IMPORTANT - if you're more than 2-3 people, keep in mind that the sofa DOES NOT extend. *There are 0 trash-bins in the whole house - even in the toilets, the host leaves a few plastic bags. *The kitchen equipment is very poor and dirty - all of the utensils and plates, bowls, cups we used were either not clean with coffee stains or oily etc. *The oven has not been cleaned in at least 3-4 months, and has a very bad smell, we were not able to cook anything inside of it. *The apartment is VERY COLD - the only way to warm up is to blast 5 radiators on the walls to around 30-35 degrees celcius for it to be bearable. *There were many random stains on countertops - such as the kitchen table, under the table next to the bed and they smell bad. *The water quality is close to non-drinkable, and after taking a shower you feel less clean than before. *All furniture is very old.
